FRIENDS OF THE BUTT-HOLDSWORTH MEMORIAL LIBRARY 

 

2003 FALL BOOK SALE

November 20, 21, 22

 

The Friends of the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will have a used-book sale November 20, 21 and 22.

As usual, the opening-day sale will be limited to Friends members only, from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, November 20. Sales to the general public will be 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 22.

Donations are always welcome, however, book sale chairman Dorothy Newby asks donors not to bring magazines, textbooks or encyclopedias more than five years old. 

Proceeds fund things such as the Children's Summer Reading Program, large-print books, the DISCOVER lecture series and supplies and equipment, which aren't covered by city and county library budgets.

Memberships are available at the Library.
